Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver is a rose beloved by many as the forerunner of the modern lavender Hybrid Teas. A child of Peace, it has been widely grown, and is still though of as the “go to” lavender for cutting. Apparently it, needs a lot of TLC in the first two or three years (see Paul Barden’s tips on our website for starting Grey Pearl) and reliable disease protection despite its glossy foliage.  Given that, it will reward with beautiful very fragrant bouquets of large 4″+ blossoms.  RVR offers several varieties of outstanding lavender Hybrid Teas. Lagerfeld and Vol de Nuit are two excellent choices for fans of that color range.
