Description
aka Reine des Belges
The blooms of this very vigorous, very disease resistant, Ayrshire, Hybrid Sempervirens Rambler are white with pink undertones. There is strong musk fragrance and the effect is spectacular in full bloom. Some sources have assigned the breeding of this rose to Antoine A. Jacques who introduced a rose, Reine des Belges, in France in 1832. There is a pink Hybrid Perpetual of the same name, no longer in commerce, introduced by Cochet in 1867.
