Description
Prosperity is one of those roses that can be relied upon to perform consistently well without fuss. Its panicles of fragrant, fluffy blooms come frequently and are set off well by darker stems and dark healthy foliage. Like most of the Hybrid Musks it performs well in shade. With support it will easily reach 8 or more feet, but with proper pruning can be held to hedge height as well. This is truly a gracious rose and one that I often recommend where a backdrop for perennials or a wedding is desired.
Introduced in 1919.
