Medallion

Description

I am frequently asked about ‘favorite’ roses. Medallion, a famous award winning rose, is always on my short list. It’s blooms often with classic exhibition form that is emphasized by the deeper apricot of the petal reverse. As the bloom fully opens its spectacular size becomes more apparent. In the deck garden it is backlit by very dark pines making it glow even more. A spectacular, fragrant delight and, overall, a very reliable rose. Portland GM 1972 AARS 1973
