Description
This Hybrid Tea, named for the Oregon Govenor who later served as Senator for many years, is little known but distinguished and memorable for the long lasting blooms. The dark red of this rose rather than being recessive, as so many dark reds are, stands out across the garden and lights up its spot. Tolerant of shade more than most HTs.
Introduced in 1962.
