Description
Golden Wings is on my very short list of favorite roses. It gives so much for very little effort on the part of the gardener. Very fragrant blooms with a long lush circlet of stamens have that purity of form that only singles have, but with just enough irregularity to give each bloom its own perfection. A pure delight with a huge crop of golden hips in late November.
Introduced in 1956.
