I find Flamingo to be utterly, disarmingly charming: long slim buds, large purply pink slightly droopy and twirled petals, strong fragrance—-and, long, long, red stamens! It is unique. And also looks fantastic growing in a very large pot. Not too sure about the hardiness.  It is a mix of Hybrid Tea (White Wings) and Rugosa. But with a Rugosa linage, it is probably worth a try in colder zones.  Let us know if you grow it successfully in a chilly place.
