Description
This rose has unique qualities that I find fascinating. First there are the velvety cerise petals. But the primary trait that I have seen in no other rose is the way the plump pointed buds are borne on long slender stems at regular airy intervals all down the long canes so that they bow out and down in a bouncy fashion rather like a child’s drawing. Cerise Bouquet is enchanting as a free standing specimen in a lawn or against a fence.
Introduced in 1958.
