Description
AKA: ‘Pompon de Bourgogne’, ‘Burgundy’, ‘Parvifolia’ Perhaps the oldest miniature rose still in commerce, the exquisite flowers with their ‘hundred petals’ are like carved high centered antique buttons. The petals are darkest rose pink with a lighter reverse. The tiny button eye at the center, sometimes has a point of yellow or green. A rose like no other; attractive as a foliage plant when out of bloom.
Unknown before 1664.
