Description
A yellow sport of Westerland, Autumn Sunset shares the same characteristics that has made that rose so popular: vigor, nearly continuous bloom, strong fragrance, and very healthy foliage. It has fewer petals than its parent which, I think, adds to its beauty. The color is soft yellow with a salmon flush and dark apricot or orange petal reverse. Growth habit is upright and sturdy, but it is quite suitable to being grown on a structure or fence as a 6-8′ climber.
Discovered in 1969.
