Description
AKA Aschermittwoch
Spectacular by moonlight, very freely blooming in spring, and memorable for the unique color which has the faintest hint of mocha at the center on opening. Since reaching maturity, our plant of Aschermittwoch has had significant rebloom in mid to late summer here in Southern Oregon. I am not sure if this much rebloom can be expected everywhere. We would like to hear about rebloom from others growing this magical climber. Hardy to Zone 5.
Introduced by Reimer Kordes in 1955.
