Description
I am more intrigued with this rose all the time. The flowers are semi-double with darker veins and a lift to the petals that gives unique charm to a bush in full bloom. The bright rose-pink blooms as well as the small gray-green leaves are strongly scented of apples. The first bloom is quite long, extending for a month or more and is sometimes followed by autumn flowers. This rose needs a period of winter dormancy to flower well.
Introduced in 1973.
