Description
This is, perhaps, the most vigorous of all the wonderful Wichurana ramblers. The blooms, deep cherry-pink reversed white with yellow tints in the center, are spectacular en masse in the sun, or laced daintily about, perhaps in tree tops in shadier locations. Lax habit makes it suitable for ground cover. This rose, in its famous planting at the Roseraie De L’Haye, is on the cover of Climbers of the World by Charles Quest-Ritson.
Introduced in 1909.
